What's up with the time?

The time that is listed for my posts is totally screwed up. It said this last post was at 3am?!?
Oh well. I don't know if it is something I have to fix or if it's the sites problem. IT Guy, get on it! ........Just kidding.

I don't exactly know how the "profiles" work on these blogs. However, there should something in there about time zone. If it displays it by name (easter, mountain, etc.) choose Eastern. If it displays in GMT format (i.e. -1, -2, -3, etc) then choose GMT -5 . . . that equals eastern time.

Ok, your IT guy pulled your tail out of the fire again . . . here's how you fix it . . .

When you go to do a new post, you get the "Create post" screen, right? See the three tabs across the top that say "Postings", "Settings" and "Template"? Click on "Settings".

On this new page you have several more tabs below the big three - click on "formatting".

Your fifth setting should be something like "Time Zone" and I bet it says something like "GMT -8 Pacific", right? Click and set it for GMT -5 Eastern. From that point on your times should be accurate. Click on "save settings" to enable.

My bill will be in the mail shortly . . .
